Side Duels Update January 5th

OK we are two weeks into the Challenge and we have some action on the Side Duels Front.

Got this lovely pie chart summarizing Duel Activity.

SD1 (Moose and ) Squirrel Duel

GeoffT has taken a quick lead here, with Curt gamely truing to keep him in sight.  No one else has a squirrel yet.  Is GeoffT going out too fast, too early?  Will he run out of potential squirrels?  Only time will tell.

SD2 30K Heresies

The expected front runner has indeed opened up a lead here, but PeterA is making a decent run.

SD3 Skulls

Scoring is pure head count (pun intended). This one will be adjudicated by Barks.

I will leave skull tallies to our resident Post-Mortem Phrenologist.

SD4 Mech Madness

Not a sausage here.  May I suggest that participants watch Wallace and Gromit Vengeance Most Foul tor inspiration?

SD6 Napoleonics

So far only LeeH has filled in his form to record action on this front.  However, I know that I have seen other Napoleonic troops on the Challenge blog.  Will the Coalition forces take a long Nap and let the Corsican Ogre overrun Europe again?

SD7 Can Opener

Again, nobody has used a Can Opener.  Perhaps the Holiday leftovers will dry up and the Holiday bills rolling in will force someone to open up a can of beans for supper...

SD8 Retreat from Moscow

Once again LeeH has opened up a lead.  RayR has posted stuff on the Blog but has yet to fill out the requisite forms.  Perhaps he left these on the East Bank of the Berezina?

  1. Great job Peter. I hope to make a few inroads on some of these soon (crosses fingers).

  2. Thanks for the update, Peter. I guess my squirrel squirrelled off, or just missed the cut today. I will try to give him some company soon!
